So, I’m Akli from Algeria, and the leader and founder of AliExports, a global sourcing agent based in China and Algeria. Before I talk about AliExports and my story with Nocoly, I would like to share with you my story in China. In 2009, I came for the first time to China.

Do you know what was my challenge? My major challenge was how to survive in China, what to eat, how to communicate with people. I didn’t know the Chinese language.

I didn’t know about the food culture. It was very difficult for me to eat every day. I remember one day I went to a friendly small restaurant near my house, and I wanted to order rice and chicken.

But a few years later, I learned a lot about Chinese culture, Chinese food, Chinese business, and now I’m so proud and so happy to have my second country, China. During the COVID-19 time, a lot of traders couldn’t travel to China to buy their goods from China. They used to be independent agents.

I helped many people to buy goods from China. And at that time, I was thinking to build a platform that can help people to buy safely from China. So I created my company.

In 2023, I started promoting my business online. I was very active on social media, and that brought a lot of clients, a lot of orders for me that I couldn’t manage by phone or by messages. So I wanted to create a platform.

First, I contacted a Chinese company that is specializing in building websites and platforms. We spent six months building aliexports.com.

We provide different services such as product sourcing, consulting, shipping solutions, logistics, product inspection. So we have a series of services which is all in one.

Simply, this is how our process works. First, we receive or we register the client’s order in our platform. We check their needs, their requirements about their products. Then we go to negotiate directly with the factories and suppliers in China to get the best price and the best offer.

Then later we provide a quote to our client, then we confirm the order, we get the payment from the client, we pay the supplier, and then we receive the goods. We inspect, we check before we ship the goods to the client. Let’s talk about our team. We have a team now in China who are responsible to communicate and negotiate with the suppliers in China.

We also have another team in Algeria who are responsible to communicate with the clients. So these teams are working together using Nocoly platform. We centralize the work: the sourcing team is putting the prices on our platform, the sales team is giving the cost to our clients.
